Amanda is a self-taught software developer who embarked on her career journey at the age of 19 through LYC’s robotic program for young individuals. "The belief LYC instilled in me fostered self-confidence, leading me to excel in various roles."

Amanda has served as an IT Manager for Refugee Advocacy and Information Service (RAIS), contributed as a web developer and programmer at the University of Lancaster, and actively participated as a board member at the Lancaster and Morecambe College.

Currently she is thriving as a Robotics Delivery Analyst at DF Capital Bank in Manchester. "My aspiration is to inspire as many individuals as possible, especially young people, sharing the same self-belief I acquired through my experience with LYC - 'there’s no place for doubt'."
