I was first introduced to LYC as a participant on the project Past Journeys, Future Dreams, which was LYC’s first project in Preston.

Since then, I was given the opportunity to be the Leading Peer Mentor on a branch of Project RESTORE in Preston.

Following the success of that project and my years of contribution to LYC, I was inducted onto the Board of Trustees earlier this year. Being a trustee is a great way for me to contribute to LYC while also gaining valuable experience in supporting young people.
