Joe is a theatre director, teacher and builder. Between 2001 and 2017 Joe worked as Artistic Director/CEO firstly of Action Transport, a young people’s theatre company in Ellesmere Port, then of The Dukes in Lancaster.  More recently he has taught on the UCLan BA (Hons) Acting Degree at the University of Central Lancashire.

Joe was the founding Chair of both the Lancaster Arts Partnership and Arts Lancashire.  He has served as Trustee of several charities and has recently finished overseeing an exciting period of development and growth as Chair of The Gregson Community Association.
