Mark is a Professor of Adolescent Public Health at Lancaster University specialising in gender, reproductive rights, sexual health  and participation. Before moving to the university sector he spent more than 25 years in community work, drugs outreach and HIV/Sexual Health services.

He is proud to be a trustee for LYC as this combines his professional interests in young people’s health and wellbeing with his abiding enthusiasm for outdoor adventures on foot, bikes, skis and canoes underpinned by a strong belief in the value of these to our health and wellbeing. Mark also co-organises a football club for young refugees and asylum seekers in Lancaster though Global Link.
