Rachel is our Operations Manager and joined Lancashire Youth Challenge in 2024.

After spending her teenage years drumming in punk bands Rachel combined her love of music with a passion for developing accessible, creative opportunities for young people and headed to University to study youth and community work.

Rachel brings over 20 years’ experience of working with young people as a JNC qualified youth worker and community musician and college lecturer. Her background is in Youth Programme management at one of the UK’s leading community music organisations and has spent the last 15 years designing, managing and delivering projects and developing pathways and progression routes for young people.

Rachel is a champion for youth voice and passionate about supporting and developing opportunities and space for young people to take the lead.
