Lancashire Youth Challenge, supports, inspires and challenges young people in Lancashire to overcome barriers and obstacles to build resilience and achieve personal success via an annual programme of high-quality participatory activities.

Making a monthly donation to Lancashire Youth Challenge is a powerful way to make a tangible difference in your community.

As a small charity operating at a local level, we pride ourselves on our efficient use of resources, with over £0.90 of every £1.00 donated, being directly used to support young people in our area.

Unlike larger organisations with significant overhead costs, we have no big offices or buildings to manage, allowing us to focus almost entirely on delivering impactful programmes and services. Your monthly contribution will enable us to continue providing vital support, helping local young people to overcome adversity, develop personal resilience and craft the lives they wish to lead.

Enables LYC to provide food and refreshments for young people at our weekly sessions

Covers the venue hire costs for the TIME TO BREATHE programme

Enables LYC to deliver a weekend TIME TO BREATHE outdoor learning and wellbeing residential, for a team of 10-20 young people.

Covers the cost of a ten week RESTORE with Empire Fighting Chance programme, supporting young people to enhance their physical and emotional health & wellbeing

Provides a Youth Support Worker to attend our weekly programme, providing pastoral support, guidance and encouragement.

Covers the cost of our RISE TO THE CHALLENGE Summer Expedition, supporting 10-15 young people to complete an epic life changing adventure.
